Why does the mobile app ask for my phone number?
On mobile, your phone number is one of the ways you can sign in — Kramio texts you a one-time code to confirm it's you, and your number becomes the identifier for that account (phone sign-ins don't use an email address). Prefer not to? Use Google or Apple instead. On the web, sign-in is Google or Apple only, and no phone number is requested.
Who is Kramio for?
Kramio is built for your life outside of work — the decisions you carry as a parent, a partner, and the person who keeps a household running. Your health, your home, your money, your family's plans. Not another work tool competing for your attention, but the quiet advisor for everything that matters after the workday ends.
What are Tiles?
Tiles are focused starting points for common life tasks — finances, health, home, travel, and more. Tap a tile to start a session with built-in context, quick starts, and expert instructions. You can also create custom tiles for anything.
What is Your Saved Context?
Your Saved Context is the personal knowledge Kramio builds about you. As you interact, it picks up details — your dietary preferences, home appliances, financial goals — and uses them to personalize future answers. Everything Kramio remembers lives in Your Saved Context, where you can view, edit, or delete any fact at any time.
What kind of input can I use?
Voice, text, PDFs, photos, screenshots, and videos. Speak a question, type it, upload a document, snap a photo, or share a video of anything — a meal, a leaky pipe, a lab report, a bill. Kramio reads them all and replies in the same language you used.
Why does it take a moment when I upload a document?
Documents go through more steps than a typed question. Kramio reads the file, runs the Identity Shield to scrub personal information before anything reaches an AI model, then routes the redacted content through multiple AI models in parallel and synthesizes one verified answer. Most documents finish in under a minute; longer or image-heavy files — multi-page bank statements, lab reports, scanned PDFs — can take a bit longer. You'll see real-time progress so you always know which step Kramio is on.
Do I need to be good at prompting?
No, and that's the point. Every tile contains expert instructions, exhaustive prompts, and guardrails tailored to its domain — Bills & Subscriptions, Health, Travel, Home, and the rest. Once you're inside a tile, just describe your situation. Upload a credit card statement and type "optimize this." Snap a photo of a leaky pipe and ask "what do I do?" Kramio understands the context the tile is built around and handles the expertise behind the scenes. The more specific you are about your situation, the better — but you never need to write a structured prompt.
Is my identity shared with AI providers?
No. Your identity is never shared with AI model providers. Kramio's Identity Shield strips personal information before requests are processed. Providers do not see your personal account or credentials.
How does Kramio protect sensitive information?
Kramio applies privacy-first redaction to remove personal identifiers before requests are sent to AI models. Sensitive fields like chat messages, documents, and personal facts are encrypted at rest with application-level encryption.
Who can access my data?
Only Kramio's application itself. Your information is stored in an encrypted database with sensitive columns encrypted at the application level. Even system administrators cannot read your personal data.
Why does Kramio use multiple AI models?
Because one model isn't enough when accuracy matters. Kramio routes your question through multiple leading AI models, synthesizes the results, and delivers one verified answer — with real-time progress so you know what's happening.
Can I use Kramio without documents or images?
Yes. You can start a conversation with just a question. Documents, photos, and files from My Documents are optional and enhance the answer with your specific context.
Is Kramio appropriate for medical use?
Kramio can help you organize information, summarize research, and ask better questions of your clinician. It is not a substitute for professional medical judgment, and Kramio is not a HIPAA-covered service. Always consult a qualified clinician for medical decisions.
How do I sign in?
On mobile, enter your phone number and the one-time code Kramio texts you. On the web, sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple. Either way, your account is created and accessed through that secure sign-in flow.
How does voice input work?
Tap the microphone, speak naturally, and Kramio transcribes what you said in real time. Review the transcript, edit if needed, and send. Works in every supported language.
What languages does Kramio support?
Kramio understands and responds in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, Bengali, Gujarati, and Punjabi. Your language is auto-detected from voice or text — no setting required.
Does Kramio recommend videos?
Yes. When a step-by-step visual would help — fixing an appliance, learning a technique — Kramio surfaces relevant YouTube videos inline. They appear in a "Do it yourself" tab alongside "Get expert help" so you choose your path.
Does Kramio recommend local businesses?
Yes. When a local pro would solve your problem faster, Kramio suggests up to three nearby providers with ratings, phone numbers, directions, and a one-line "why this fits" based on your specific situation. Your precise address is never shared with the provider until you choose to contact them.
Can I create my own AI assistant?
Yes. Custom tiles let you build your own assistant for anything specific to your life — your rental properties, a chronic condition, your small business. Name it, describe what it should help you with, and Kramio handles the rest.
What are structured responses?
Kramio doesn't reply with walls of text. Answers come as timelines, checklists, action plans, and outcome cards — whatever shape fits the question. You see the headline first, the next step second, and the full detail only when you ask for it.
Does Kramio send notifications?
On mobile, Kramio sends the occasional push notification — but only for a genuine For You follow-up: a renewal coming up, an insight from a document you uploaded, or a date you asked it to remember. The app badge only ever counts unread For You items. No nagging, no pile-up — you choose what to act on.
How do I delete my data?
You can delete documents, facts, and conversation history directly in the app at any time. For full account deletion, email support@kramio.com and your data is permanently removed.
